The Alachua County Supervisor of Elections says early voting for the 2026 General Election runs through Sunday, November 1. Registered county voters can cast a ballot at any of eight early voting locations between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
Each of the eight sites is equipped with a secure ballot intake station where voters can drop off completed vote-by-mail ballots. Those stations operate during early voting hours and are staffed by trained attendants.
The eight locations are the Supervisor of Elections Office at 515 N. Main Street in Gainesville; Millhopper Branch Library at 3145 NW 43rd Street in Gainesville; Tower Road Branch Library at 3020 SW 75th Street in Gainesville; Hawthorne Community Center at 6700 SE 221st Street in Hawthorne; Legacy Park Multipurpose Center at 15400 Peggy Road in Alachua; the J. Wayne Reitz Union at 655 Reitz Union Drive on the UF campus in Gainesville; Santa Fe College room S-029 at 3000 NW 83rd Street in Gainesville; and the UF IFAS Extension Office at 22716 W Newberry Rd in Newberry.
After early voting closes November 1, the ballot intake station moves to the Supervisor of Elections Office only. It will operate there Monday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Vote-by-mail ballots must reach the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on November 3. Once early voting ends, voters must cast ballots at their assigned polling place on Election Day. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., and voters must be in line by 7 p.m. to vote.
Voters are required to present photo and signature identification. The acceptable ID list and assigned polling places are posted at VoteAlachua.gov, and the Supervisor of Elections Office can be reached at 352-374-5252 during business hours.
The Supervisor of Elections Office is located at 515 N. Main Street in Gainesville. Early voting hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. through November 1.
