Ric Flair addressed fan concerns about his survival following a recent hospitalization.

The pro wrestler was admitted to a Florida hospital late in October after falling outside a Tampa bar. The incident caused facial injuries and a possible concussion. He was later observed wearing an eye patch over his right eye.

Flair responded to the public reaction on X on Friday. He noted that the recurring question from fans was, 'How am I still alive?' He listed his career statistics, including 5,000 matches, 2,400 of which were one-hour draws, and five 90-minute bouts. He also referenced a round trip to Japan that involved wrestling three one-hour matches in 24 hours.

The former champion detailed his medical history in the post. He cited a plane crash that resulted in 31 days in the ICU, 14 days on life support, and 35 days in rehabilitation. He concluded the thread with, 'And You Are Worried About Me Falling Down And Hitting My Eye? WTF.'

Flair, who is 77 years old, has a history of severe health events. He recovered from a 1975 plane crash and returned to the ring approximately three months later. He has also reported being struck by lightning at least once. In 2022, he suffered a heart attack during his final match. In 2017, he nearly died after his intestines ruptured.

He has also discussed recent blood clot issues that limit his travel to trips of four hours or less. The 16-time WWE champion continues to maintain an active lifestyle despite these medical challenges.
