SportsLine's betting model has released its top-rated selections for the ninth week of the 2026 NFL season.
The system, which simulates every contest 10,000 times, is currently on a 60-51 record for its top picks since 2024. The model has generated more than $5,000 in profit for hypothetical $100 players on betting sites during that period. It has now locked in five specific bets for the upcoming slate. Combining these five selections into a single parlay yields potential odds of nearly +3000.
One of the five selections is the over 40.5 points in the matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks. The model projects this total to hit in 75% of its simulations for the game scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. The over has landed in six of Arizona's last 10 games and three of Seattle's last five. The Seahawks possess the 11th-highest scoring offense in the league, averaging 24.0 points per game. The Cardinals rank 21st with 21.9 points per game.
Arizona's offense features running back Tyler Allgeier, who has rushed 72 times for 323 yards and two touchdowns. He carried the ball 11 times for 147 yards and a score in the recent victory over Dallas. Tight end Trey McBride leads the passing attack with 66 receptions for 544 yards and five touchdowns.
Seattle faces a significant change in its starting quarterback. Sam Darnold, who is dealing with a quad injury, will not play this week. Drew Lock will start in his place. Lock retains Jaxon Smith-Njigba as a primary target. Smith-Njigba has caught 64 passes for 985 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
The model also identified four other games where it believes the current lines are mispriced. These selections include multiple spread bets that the system projects will hit at a rate well above 50%. The full list of five picks is available exclusively through SportsLine. The other four games are not detailed in the public release of the model's top prediction.
