Jay-Z will perform the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The NFL, Apple Music, and the artist announced the confirmation on Monday.

Roc Nation, Jay-Z's production company, has handled the halftime production since 2019. The firm recently signed a five-year contract extension that secures its role through 2029. Under Roc Nation's direction, recent shows have shifted focus toward hip-hop and rap artists.

Last year's performance at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara featured Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, and Ricky Martin. Other recent headliners include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023. The 2022 show in Los Angeles featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar, with cameos from 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak.

Despite his ties to the league and many past performers, Jay-Z has never played at a Super Bowl before. The 25-time Grammy winner has been on tour this year to mark the 30th anniversary of his debut album 'Reasonable Doubt' and the 25th anniversary of 'The Blueprint.'

The Jay-Z 30 Tour began with three shows at Yankee Stadium in July. It continued with two dates in London and one in Paris in September. His final scheduled performances took place on Oct. 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium, the same venue where he will now perform in February.
