Boise State sets Nov. 16 deadline for student leader nominations

Boise State University will recognize graduating students for their campus contributions this December, with nominations due by Monday, Nov. 16. The university is seeking individuals from departments, organizations, or academic programs who have dedicated time to improve the student experience.

The Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and the Student Involvement and Leadership Center are managing the selection process. Recipients will receive a leadership cord to wear with their academic regalia. Students and their families may also attend a dessert reception scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17.

Faculty, staff, and peers can submit nominations for both undergraduate and graduate students through the CampusGroups platform. The online form allows for individual submissions or the upload of a student list. Selected nominees must complete a short application to be considered for the honor.

The committee will also select a student speaker for the recognition event. Those wishing to nominate a speaker should do so as soon as possible, as the choice will be based on the student's application and the nomination details.

Cody Parish with the Student Involvement and Leadership Center is the point of contact for questions about the nomination process or the recognition event. He can be reached at codyparish@boisestate.edu.
