Donald Trump endorsed Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening. He posted the message on Truth Social just days before the Israeli election. It is his second public endorsement of the prime minister.

"When you go to the Polls please remember that Bibi has been an outstanding Warrior Prime Minister!" Trump wrote. He cited a strong working relationship with Netanyahu. The two leaders have been "winning together," according to the post.

Trump named specific military actions as examples of their cooperation. He listed Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury. He then made a direct request to the electorate. "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!" he said.

The post followed reports that Netanyahu intensified his push for U.S. support. The Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday that Netanyahu and his allies in Trump's inner circle increased pressure for new statements of backing. Two American sources told the newspaper that the prime minister was showing signs of political desperation.

An earlier report from Axios added details about recent contacts. It stated that Netanyahu and Trump spoke twice in the past three days. Netanyahu suggested possible wording for new endorsements. An Israeli source told Axios that the prime minister also proposed Trump speak with Israeli journalists to repeat his support.

Trump included a warning about a potential change in leadership. "If Israel has the wrong leader, meaning anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this job itself, and I'm not inclined to do that," he wrote. The Jerusalem Post identified this job as the confrontation with Iran.

The message combines praise for Netanyahu's leadership with a call to vote for him. It also outlines the consequences of choosing a different candidate. This timing aligns with reports that the prime minister actively sought this public backing from Washington as voters prepare to cast ballots.
