The Southeastern Conference matchup in Fayetteville ended with Missouri holding a commanding lead over Arkansas. The Tigers defeated the Razorbacks 34-10 on Saturday night to improve their record to 6-2.

Missouri's offense struggled to score in the first half, yet the team still entered the break with a 13-7 advantage. Darris Smith recovered a fumble in the end zone late in the first quarter, giving the Tigers an early 10-0 lead. That defensive score set the tone for a game where points off turnovers proved decisive.

The momentum shifted sharply in the third quarter. Quarterback Austin Simmons threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Donovan Olugbode. Running back Jamal Roberts followed with a two-yard rushing touchdown. These two plays extended the Missouri lead to 27-7 with 9 minutes and 47 seconds remaining in the half.

Simmons finished the game with 179 passing yards and two touchdowns. Roberts recorded 158 total yards and two touchdowns, rushing for 138 yards on 23 carries. He also caught three passes for 20 yards. In the fourth quarter, Simmons connected with Roberts on a 10-yard touchdown pass with 7 minutes and 19 seconds left to seal the result.

Arkansas quarterback KJ Jackson completed 20 of 34 passes for 229 yards. He also added a rushing touchdown. The Razorbacks, who dropped to 3-5, managed only 59 rushing yards on 36 carries. Arkansas fumbled the ball three times, and Jackson threw one interception. Missouri converted those four turnovers into 24 points.

All-American running back Ahmad Hardy made his season debut in the game. Hardy missed the first seven games after being wounded in the leg during a shooting at an outdoor concert in May. He rushed for 5 yards on two carries, both in the first quarter.

Head coach Eliah Drinkwitz said Hardy had no medical reason to sit out. Drinkwitz noted that Hardy's movements in practice indicated he was ready to play. Missouri hosts No. 11 Texas on Saturday, Nov. 7, while Arkansas travels to Auburn the same day.
